Intermittent Catheter
Closed System
Closed system catheters offer sterile and clean supplies typically in a self contained kit.  This system is designed to reduce Urinary Tract Infections because it has an introducer tip which enables the patient to cath without touching the catheter.  The catheter is a latex free, unisex system and available in different French sizes and lengths.
SpeediCath
SpeediCath are hydrophilic and available in closed system or compact. They are easy to carry, store and use. The hydrophilic coating allows the catheter an easy, sterile insertion, and have polished eyelets for greater comfort.  The compact style is designed for women, while the closed system is uni-sex.
Hydrophilic
Hydrophilic catheters are pre-lubricated with gel and hydrated to ensure a comfortable, painless insertion.  They are preferred by patients who typically experience discomfort during the cathing process.  They are available in Intermittent and Foley catheters as well as the various French sizes and lengths.
Coude Tip
A Coude tip catheter has a slight bend in the tip of the catheter utilized by patients with some type of obstruction.  It is typically used by male patients to thread the catheter past their prostate.  They also have clean polished eyelets for smooth insertions and are available in a variety of French sizes, lengths, and materials.
Straight Tip
Straight tip catheters have fire polished eyelets and a siliconized surface to ensure smooth insertion.  They are the most common type among intermittent catheters and come in a variety of French sizes and length.  They are available as a soft clear material, red rubber, or hydrophilic.
